The Farm
A small group of pupils attend the farm which is located at Pinfold Primary School in Darlaston every Monday afternoon. They have guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits and goats. Pinfold staff leave a pen for us to clean and this can belong to any of the four animals. Pupils then empty the dirty bedding, food and water out of the pen, sweep out the mess and then refill with clean. They are also responsible for disposing of the rubbish in the correct place. Pupils can then hand feed the animals with fresh fruit and vegetables. Pupils who attend are changed termly to give everyone the opportunity. I'm sure pupils who have been previously will be able to tell you some stories about the naughty goats and our attempts to move them out of their pen so we can clean!
