As a Board of Governors we are extremely proud of Shepwell and feel that the ‘Good’ Ofsted rating is recognition of the hard work of leaders, staff and pupils. Every member of Shepwell is passionate about delivering our vision to radically improve the achievement and life chances of our students, and for every student to progress to continuing education, training or employment; Ofsted found evidence of this in both the leadership, teaching, behaviour of our students and their achievements. We are extremely pleased with the result and recognise the progress we need to make to become an ‘Outstanding’ rated school; as a board of governors we feel this is an achievable ambition for the future.
