Here at Shepwell the Pastoral Hub is the heart of the school where the door is always open. We have a strong pastoral team made up of a Head of Year and Pastoral Lead for each key stage.

Health and Wellbeing are key priorities at Shepwell and we have a wide variety of flexible approaches to ensure that we put the pupils needs, thoughts and feelings first. From Albie the therapy dog, to massage chairs, calm and sensory spaces, we also offer 1:1 and group intervention based on individual need . We have break out spaces available for all, MP3s on loan to those that use music as a strategy, sensory toys, pace time, time out cards, SEN support, wobble boards and an extensive list of rewards such as the gaming bus and horse riding to name a few.

Everything is done on an individual basis and we tailor all support to guarantee we are providing the best care possible to each student. All our students matter to us and we always strive to do everything we can to ensure that they feel welcome and understood. 

Laughter, kindness, supportive, caring and above and beyond are just some of the key words used to describe the pastoral support provided at Shepwell by staff parents and pupils.
