Governors work in partnership with Mr Pritchard-Jones (Headteacher) to provide the best possible standards of education to help pupils to achieve their aspirations and expectations. Governors work with the Headteacher to make decisions to promote continuous improvement. They make decisions on the overall direction of the school and work with the Headteacher to set policies, targets to support the school.

Who can become a governor?

Governors come from all walks of life

You don’t need any particular expertise or special qualifications

You need enthusiasm and willingness to contribute some of your time

You don’t need to have children at Shepwell to become a governor
